Ingrid Laos
Teacher, writer and mindfulness coach.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Ingrid Laos is a teacher, author, and mindfulness coach for children. She works with children ages pre-K to high school. As a teacher, she specializes in Reading, Reading Comprehension, and Writing.
Born and raised in Miami, she first studied law and then re-routed her career to teaching elementary education. She published her first book in March of 2020 about education reform, titled The Death of Public Schools. She is an advocate for teachers, parents, and children.

Ingrid lives in Miami and serves her community by informing educators and parents about the issues within the public school system. She’s working towards a better system for teachers, parents, and students by analyzing how and why the system isn’t working, and changes that can be made that work better. She teaches privately, consults parents privately, and works for the public school system as an Interventionist on a part-time basis.
